The ideal candidate has 3+ years of field technician or assembly experience, enjoys outdoor work, and can manage equipment in dynamic settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field technician, installer, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electronics or mechanical repair in outdoor settings.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems for task assignment and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on robotic hive systems.
• Apply ECOs and implement field upgrades.
• Support installation and setup of systems in orchards and bee pastures.
• Use a technician app and ticketing system to receive tasks and report completion.
• Carry out field assembly work, including electrical and mechanical adjustments.
• Collaborate with teammates and engineers and maintain clear communication.
• Ensure equipment is safe, clean, and presentable at all times.
• Work primarily in the Merced area, with occasional travel as needed.
