V2X is seeking a Field Technician to support the Perimeter Intrusion Detection System program. The role involves installation, testing, integration, and troubleshooting of PTZ cameras, radar, fence sensors, and video components at airport sites in the New York/New Jersey area.

Candidates should have a technical degree, at least four years in electrical/electronic fields, ability to read schematics, and experience with field service tools.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Four years of proven experience in electrical/electronics and fiber optics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with field service of electrical/electronic systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license; Class B CDL is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Install, test, integrate, and troubleshoot Fixed and PTZ camera systems.
• Test and troubleshoot radar and fence sensor systems.
• Install and calibrate VMD and video encoders; build test cables.
• Set up test stations and perform workstation troubleshooting.
• Operate power supplies and UPS systems; work at height with lifts.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs on fielded systems.
