Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Field Technician to install and repair services and educate customers on usage. This entry-level role provides training and a clear path for progression, with potential pay increases and career growth within Spectrum.

Field Technicians work outdoors, travel to customer sites, and use hand tools and computer software. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift heavy items are required, with on-the-job training and advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Schedule: Travel to/from customer locations as needed, including during inclement weather.
• Language: Fluent in English.
• Technical: Proficiency with computers and software applications.
• Abilities: Strong communication, professionalism, time management, organization and reliability.
• License: Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Physical: Lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Spectrum services at customer premises.
• Educate customers on the use of services and devices.
• Work in outdoor environments on a variety of terrains.
• Travel to multiple job sites and operate company vehicle.
• Participate in on-the-job training and self-progression programs.
