Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Field Technician to support nationwide, short-term projects installing abrasion-resistant products and wear solutions at customer sites across power, construction, manufacturing, and industrial facilities.

You will travel frequently, work with a small crew, and use company tools to complete mechanical tasks while following safety guidelines. A strong willingness to learn and adapt to diverse sites is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with skilled trades such as construction, concrete, cement, welding, or mechanical work.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools in industrial settings.
• Willingness to travel frequently nationwide for 1–4 week field projects.
• Comfort with long hours, fast-paced environments, and site changes.

Responsibilities

• Travel the country by plane and truck to complete 1–4 week field projects at customer sites.
• Install and apply abrasion-resistant products and wear solutions to equipment and structures.
• Use company-provided tools to perform mechanical and installation tasks safely.
• Work in diverse industrial environments including construction, manufacturing, and cement plants.
• Collaborate with a crew of 4–6, maintain clear communication throughout projects.
• Follow OSHA and MSHA safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Complete tasks within project timelines and quality standards.
• Support shop work when not traveling to maintain weekly hours.
