Job Summary

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for traveling to retail stores to test, troubleshoot, and repair our reverse vending machines (RVM). The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn new skills through provided training, and a basic understanding of maintenance or mechanical systems with the ability to troubleshoot using root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair reverse vending machines (RVMs), focusing on conveyors, sensors, motors, and other equipment.
• Travel between locations, requiring a clean driving record and comfort with being on the road.
• Install new RVMs at new sites.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and the public.
• Use hands to assemble, disassemble, and repair mechanical components.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable vehicle with expenses paid by the company.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends.
• Must be able to read and write English.
