Linder Industrial Machinery Company in Chesapeake, VA seeks skilled Heavy Equipment Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment in both shop and field environments.

As an authorized Komatsu dealer, we provide factory training, ongoing support, and clear career growth across our 27 locations. A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate degree in Diesel or Heavy Equipment Technology is preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Diesel Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent apprenticeship or hands-on experience considered.
• Experience on construction, mining, agricultural, trucking, or heavy industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment and components.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain repairs.
• Develop repair plans and determine needed parts, materials, tooling.
• Complete repairs safely and to quality standards.
• Prepare service reports, work orders, warranty documentation, and recommendations.
• Order and manage parts through company systems.
• Communicate repair status with supervisors and customers.
• Maintain company vehicles, service trucks, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and perform shop/field service as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment and related components

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
