Job summary

Environmental Works, Inc. seeks a Laborer to support field services at client sites, performing pressure washing, vacuum operations, steam cleaning, and basic industrial maintenance.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to read and follow instructions, and a professional, respectful attitude. High school diploma or GED preferred; CDL-B is a plus. Overnight travel up to 50% may be required; safety gear and PPE are provided.

LABORER | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs various hands-on work such as pressure washing, dry/wet vacuum truck operations support, steam cleaning, and basic industrial maintenance
• Operates a company motor vehicle to travel to and from job sites
• Operate hand tools, light machinery, and sharp tools while on job location
• Provides care and light maintenance of tools and equipment to maintain their proper operation
• Works in a safe and healthy manner in accordance with established safety and OSHA requirements

LABORER | POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS:

• Full-time position
• Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holidays
• Overnight travel required up to 50%; travel via company vehicle
• On-call availability occasionally on a rotating schedule

LABORER | REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A valid driver's license (for insurability purposes)
• Has ability to read, understand, and carry out oral and written instructions and schedules
• Gives respect to co-workers, clients, supervisors, and vendors
• Can be on time, flexible, adaptable, and professional.

LABORER | PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Three (3) years of general labor or construction experience preferred
• CDL - B Preferred

LABORER | WORK ENVIRONMENT:

EWI's field service team works in a variety of industrial plants and settings. We encounter dust, oils, various commodities such as grain and fertilizer, in varying weather/temperature conditions. Employee must follow all safety standards and wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.

This employee is required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.
