Field Technician III Lead (Rack & Stack)

TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a skilled and reliable Field Technician III Lead with experience in data center and central office environments, specializing in rack & stack deployments, fiber work, and DC power integration. The role involves physical installation, basic testing, and documentation of telecom hardware to ensure high-quality project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, can travel extensively, and possess mechanical expertise and professionalism to support top network infrastructure projects nationwide.

With extensive experience in macro, DAS, Small Cells, and Wi-Fi implementations, our team is trusted by leading network operators and OEMs for planning, troubleshooting, and deploying diverse technologies.

We support customers throughout the network lifecycle, across all network elements.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform rack & stack installations in data centers and central offices, including installing/removing ladder racks, fiber raceways, and cabinets.
  2. Execute fiber cabling tasks: running, cleaning, scoping, and terminating fiber patch cords to FDPs.
  3. Conduct DC power work, including -48V rectifier and PDU installations/removals in live environments.
  4. Assist in hardware testing to support quality installations and service turn-ups.
  5. Read and interpret Engineering Design Packages (EDPs) and Visio drawings.
  6. Perform site audits, inspections, and virtual audits with remote teams.
  7. Document and submit job data accurately and promptly.
  8. Communicate effectively with project teams and remote staff.
  9. Follow Methods of Procedure (MOP) during job execution.
  10. Maintain safe and clean job sites, manage materials and debris.
  11. Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of IP Transport experience.
  • High school diploma; technical training preferred.
  • Experience in Central Office and Data Center environments.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
  • Willingness to travel 75-100% across the U.S.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in data centers.
  • Proficient with hand, fiber, and power tools.
  • Knowledge of DC power systems, ESD handling, and fiber optics.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow structured MOPs and escalate issues.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and mobile reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work long hours in the field.
