Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• DoD 8140 Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+) required.
• 3+ years in a field technician or IT support role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system configurations.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing and end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software at Gunter Annex.
• Perform routine diagnostics and preventive maintenance on IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and resolve them.
• Provide end-user support and respond to service requests via ServiceNow.
• Coordinate with vendors for repair and replacement of faulty equipment.
• Document procedures and user manuals for IT systems.
• Ensure systems comply with DoD cybersecurity and configuration standards.
• Perform backups and restore operations as needed.
• Assist with system upgrades and communicate improvement plans.
• Support VPN, wireless networks, and other specialized systems.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments for IT equipment installations.
