Rain for Rent is seeking a Field Technician II to lay out, assemble, and maintain pipe, pumps, and related equipment at agricultural or industrial sites. You will represent the company and foster strong customer relations while ensuring safety and quality on every job.

The role includes site analysis, equipment inspection, and hands-on fabrications with a focus on reliable service delivery and customer satisfaction. Travel is required 1–25% across locations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of related experience or training.
• Driver License required.
• Able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Able to read a map and calculate distances.
• Must be safety-oriented and have a customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or instructions to determine tasks and material needs.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment to project specs.
• Inspect equipment, vehicles, and tools for safety and functionality before travel.
• Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment as specified.
• Complete Job Site Analysis for customer sites where work is performed.
• Promote cooperation and good communication with branch and corporate personnel.
