Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Texas seeks a Field Technician II to support project management and conduct field testing as part of their Construction Material Department. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and be able to lift samples and work outdoors year-round. Experience and relevant certifications are preferred. This full-time position is based in Austin, where teamwork and continuous skill development are paramount.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• ACI or Nuclear Gauge certification preferred.
• Ability to acquire additional skills or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and/or inspection as assigned.
• Document work performed as appropriate.
• Provide support to Project Manager as directed.
• Ensure project deliverables are met per schedule.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Skills

Ability to lift concrete, soil, or asphalt samples

Ability to tolerate year-round outdoor work

Ability to travel occasionally

Valid Texas Driver’s License

Related certifications as needed
