Job summary

Raba Kistner, Inc. is seeking Construction Materials Technicians I–III for our Austin, TX team. The role involves field and laboratory testing, sampling, and inspection of construction materials to support project quality and safety standards.

Technicians work under supervision, coordinate with project leads, maintain equipment, and submit accurate reports. A high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and industry certifications are required, with level depending on experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with dispatcher/coordinator to ensure priorities and deadlines are met in both the field and laboratory.
• Meet with supervisors of contractors, engineer/architect representatives and/or other project leads to discuss and coordinate testing, sampling or inspection of construction materials or procedures.
• Following safety protocols, ensure safe utilization, storage and maintenance of all nuclear gauges and field equipment.
• Communicate project progress and delays to supervisor and dispatcher.
• Submit accurate and complete testing/inspection reports on a daily basis.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites in a safe manner.
