Job summary

Talent Pros Recruiting Specialists is seeking a Field Technician II for HVAC or Power Generators in Baton Rouge, LA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and field service to ensure reliable power, heating, and cooling for customers.

The position offers full-time hours with overtime possibilities, training programs, and opportunities for career growth. Travel may be required to customer sites in the Baton Rouge area.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience working on HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and power generator repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics.
• TWIC card or valid DOT medical card may be required based on customer requirements.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
• Be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.
