Job description

Vert is in need of finding and training an aspiring field technician II apprentice. This is a great stepping stone opportunity to learn the ropes under our field technician II and earn a 100k+ income after you obtain your license and can execute the role. This is a fast-paced work environment with a lot of growth opportunities. This job requires the ability to multitask and work as a team player. We give great training and support to ensure your success. This job has a lot of long-term security. Being able to work independently is important in this job as well. Responsibilities:

1. Assist Tech II in performing various duties, including courier, administrative tasks, errands, field tech support, etc.
2. Learn to work with minimal supervision, learn quickly, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
3. Assist Technicians driving to job sites daily, and this position requires you to travel for work 100% of the time.
4. Assist in following full-time field technicians' plan of action and schedule.
5. Receive required certifications for a mold and asbestos field technician.
6. Learn the process of collecting samples for mold, lead, and asbestos accurately.
7. Carry and use a ladder to get to testing spots.
8. Wear protective gear.
9. Drive the company car safely, and do not speed.

Qualifications:

1. Full-time and flexible availability.
2. Must have a good driving record and a current CA Driver's License.
3. 21 years of age or older.
4. Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
5. A minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
6. Have the ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers.
7. Must be able to safely lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs.
8. Must maintain a professional appearance at all times.
9. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Willingness to obtain CSST/CAC certifications immediately.

Compensation:

$35,000+ per year
