Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Field Technician I for its US operations to support safe and reliable equipment operations. You will follow safety procedures, assist in maintenance tasks, and collaborate across departments to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient field work.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and familiarity with Excel and Word. The role is primarily outdoors, with opportunities for overtime, weekend shifts, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with minimal direct training.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities demonstrated through training or experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team oriented with integrity, honesty, and inclusiveness.
• Proven ability to work safely and independently when needed.
• Innovative problem solver who takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to safety procedures and code requirements.
• Work safely, participate in safety programs, and comply with policies and regulations.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with SOPs.
• Collaborate with departments to support operational needs.
• Complete paperwork and reports related to equipment maintenance.
• Respond to equipment malfunctions and emergencies to safeguard life and property.
• Follow lock out/tag out procedures to ensure personnel safety.
• Maintain accuracy in records and reports; learn required qualifications.
• Order, receive, and transfer materials; conduct physical inventory.
• Review drawings, sketches, and as-built documents.
