Job summary

Park Energy Services, LLC is hiring multiple Field Technicians for the Dilley, Carrizo Springs area to safely set up, maintain and repair natural gas compressors.

The Field Technician I role focuses on learning to read meters, monitor gauges, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems, and perform start-up procedures on location. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to join a call-out rotation.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to communicate information effectively with all levels of co-workers by phone, email or in person.
• Able to work independently or with others.

Responsibilities

• Learn to read gas meters and instrumentation recording the amounts of gas received/delivered/consumed and report any operational, temperature and pressure changes as needed in operating logs
• Learn to watch gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly
• Learn the function and repair of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems associated with natural gas compressors
• Learn to properly set units and perform start-up procedures on location
• Learn to maintain replacement/repair parts for assigned units
• Learn to use hand tools to clean, lubricate, adjust equipment, replace filters, gaskets and other items while identifying what kind of maintenance is needed
• Learn to properly use electronic devices for troubleshooting, testing or commissioning equipment
• Assist with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs and maintenance
• Will have call-out rotation responsibilities and respond to unscheduled service calls
• Submit accurate maintenance reports and other necessary paperwork
• Maintain a current and valid driver's license
• Other duties as assigned
