JOB TITLE: Field Technician OOT (I)


LOCATION: Midland, TX


POSITION REPORTS TO: FRAC Manager - Operations


SCHEDULE: To Be Determined. This position requires extensive out of town travel. Must be able to work nights, early, stay late and/or work on weekends as needed.


SALARY: TBD



RESPONSIBILITIES


*Comply with Sun Coast and customer safety and operational policies and procedures


*Actively participate in safety programs, initiatives, and training


*Safety fill equipment of all sizes, hooking and unhooking hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading andunloading, participate in DEF and Fuel transfers with Transport Drivers


*Assist with completing daily fuel and DEF checks on equipment


*Willing to assume responsibility and take initiative to resolve issues


*Operate company equipment in a safe and professional manner and abide by all safety rules, including submitting proper reporting and documentation and when it is necessary to conduct emergency stops


*Assist and complete rig-up and rig-down of auto-fuel system, including securing all caps, fittings, hoses, electrical connections, tank calibrations, etc.


*Monitor readings of tank level, flow rate, lower limits and upper limits


*Complete Company paperwork such as daily tickets, daily reports, weekly reports and time sheets legibly


*Other related duties to as appointed by management or dispatch, including but not limited to assisting on the yard



BASIC REQUIREMENTS

*High School diploma or GED required

*Must be 21 years of age or older

*Must have a valid Class C driver's license and a good driving record

*Must have some computer knowledge and be able to operate effectively

*Must wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and abide by the company dress code policy

*Strong mathematical skills to calculate gallons per unit

*Excellent physical dexterity targeted at frequently lifting and carrying up to 50lbs from one place to another by employing safe work practices

*Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment

*Must be able to read, speak, write, and communicate using the English language sufficiently enough to perform the job functions

*Ability to work in extreme weather conditions possible extended shifts

*Proven ability to detect problems using logical reasoning, prioritization and perform troubleshooting procedures with independent judgment.

*Must be able to pass a DOT physical or "Fit for Duty" physical exam

*May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing and background check

*Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement

*Must be able to pass a driving test hauling a utility trailer

*Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize and execute tasks

*1 year field technician experience
