Position Summary
The Field Technician I position is responsible for support within the operations group accountable for providing technical skills and knowledge, assistance, and job coordination necessary for rig up, rig down, and installation of high-pressure lines used in completion operations.
Essential Functions
- Assist with rig-up and rig-down activities under direct supervision.
- Support basic equipment setup by staging tools, connecting simple components, and preparing materials as directed.
- Load and unload materials and equipment with supervision; assist with securing loads per trained procedures.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, or other lifting equipment only after required certification and under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard by removing debris, organizing materials, and ensuring clear walkways.
- Label, categorize, and stage materials, tools, or equipment to support job preparation.
- Perform basic cleaning and visual checks of equipment and report issues immediately.
- Complete and submit timecards and basic forms accurately and on time.
- Escalate nonconformities promptly.
- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials, equipment, or products; ensure proper securement for transport.
- Accurately apply specified torque values to bolts, nuts, and other fasteners using calibrated torque tools to ensure mechanical integrity and safety.
- Assist with torqueing activities by preparing tools and equipment, and by supporting senior technicians during torque-to-spec procedures. Perform only basic hand-tool tasks under direct supervision.
- Apply proper surface preparation and painting techniques to achieve high-quality, durable finishes in accordance with project specifications.
- Perform basic surface preparation and apply paint or coating as directed to support equipment readiness, following provided safety instructions and supervision.
- Consistently follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Be willing and able to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet project deadlines and operational demands.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues to the Operations Coordinator.
- Travel to designated job sites as required.
- Attend scheduled meetings, briefings, and team discussions—in person or virtually—to support communication, coordination, and project alignment.

Driving Requirements
