Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks an Entry Level Field Technician I to support testing and site observations in the A/E/C industry. You will operate testing equipment, review drawings, and document results under supervision.

This is an on-site role with potential overtime and travel requirements. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifikationen

• Must have valid driver’s license and a reliable driving record.
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30–50 pounds frequently; over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, hearing, and to discern sound.
• Ability to kneel and squat occasionally.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.

What you’ll do:

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (example: Soil, asphalt, concrete or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams
• Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• ACI Certification desired, not necessary
