Job summary

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Cedar Rapids Branch.

You will serve as the service repair contact for customers in your geographic area and may be dispatched elsewhere as needed, prioritizing repairs with urgency. Responsibilities include maintaining a Class A license, diagnosing engine, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and delivering high-quality work on customer sites.

Qualifications

• Five years mechanical experience required or preferred.
• Own tooling to perform work.
• Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
• Desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
• Capable of engaging with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
• Technical or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Class A driver’s license.
