Job summary

Action Resources, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Laborer in Tampa, FL to support hazardous waste site operations. The role requires reading safety plans, assisting excavation, and performing manual tasks with PPE.

A valid driver’s license may be required to operate company vehicles, with strict adherence to safety rules and site policies. The Laborer will work outdoors in varied weather conditions, follow MSDS instructions, and participate in required training including HAZWOPER.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret site-specific Safety Plan at each site; may be amended daily.
• Assist excavation and/or hand excavation of contaminated soils.
• Read and comprehend container labels prior to touching or opening.
• Assist in demolition of contaminated buildings/structures; operate pumping equipment.
• Perform manual duties such as assembling fences and placing sandbags; use PPE.
