Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Field Technician to install and repair services and educate customers on use. This entry-level role includes robust training and a clear path for progression from Technician I through Technician IV, with pay increases at each level and bonus opportunities for completing coursework.

You will work outdoors, travel to customer premises, and leverage on-the-job training and career self-progression to advance within Spectrum.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to travel to customer premises and other locations as needed.
• Fluent in English for customer interactions.
• Proficiency with computers and software applications; competent with hand tools.
• Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, reliability.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair Spectrum services at customer premises.
• Educate customers on service usage and best practices.
• Travel to and from customer locations; work outdoors in various environments.
• Receive on-the-job training and participate in career progression programs.
