Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. seeks a skilled technician to repair and maintain gas compression equipment in the Odessa, Texas region.

This rotational on-site role supports our compressor stations, plants, and pipeline facilities, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, coordinate with teams and contractors, manage materials and records, and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years (Level C) to 4+ years (Lead) of relevant industry experience depending on level.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station equipment and related facilities to meet production requirements.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate work with teams and contractors to ensure safety and timeliness.
• Provide budgetary information, schedule outages, order materials, and maintain inventory.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, OEM manuals, and other technical resources for assigned work.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and PPE in hazardous environments while maintaining safety.
