Job summary

Pavion is seeking a Technician to install cabling, field devices, and basic programming for low voltage systems across client sites. You will analyze blueprints and ensure work meets state regulations and project specs, while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires detailed documentation, effective communication with team and clients, and willingness to travel to sites. A high school diploma and relevant certifications are a plus; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related certifications are a plus.
• Basic understanding of copper and fiber optic cabling standards.
• Familiar with electronic security systems and CCTV.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install cabling, devices, headend equipment, and basic programming for low voltage systems.
• Analyze blueprints, schematics, and system drawings.
• Ensure projects meet regulatory and project specs.
• Maintain project documentation and quality control.
• Monitor subcontractors and manage materials on projects.
• Update management on daily progress.
• Keep work area clean and maintain vehicle.
