Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Field Technician to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, water, and related media. You will travel to sites, collect and test samples, and document results to support critical testing programs.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with weekends/holidays as needed. A high school diploma is required, and some lab/environmental experience is preferred; valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in related work preferred.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• The ability to travel with some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples (air, soil, water, and related media).
• Perform field services using standard environmental support practices, including sample collection, test kit completion, and documentation of results.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as required.
• Prepare vehicles for daily field operations, including instruments, supplies, kits, materials, documentation, and safety equipment.
• Complete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with research and recommendations to resolve operational, customer, or employee issues.
• Support the review and implementation of field/environmental programs to meet operational and organizational needs.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; escalated issues when needed.
• Contribute to team effectiveness by offering suggestions for improvements.
• Promote Pace Analytical’s mission through professional, courteous, and cooperative interactions with customers and coworkers.
