Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5–8 years related experience required.
• 3–5 years soldering with J-STD-001 to repair cables/harnesses.
• 3–5 years troubleshooting and fault isolation with test equipment.
• 3–5 years operation of test equipment in field environments.
• Knowledge of industrial standards and military specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and work with hazardous materials.
• Able to mix and weigh chemicals and properly safety wire assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify equipment at customer sites.
• Perform depot level repairs and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Operate electrical/mechanical test equipment and inspect components.
• Set up milling machine and drill press for component repair.
• Verify tolerances using precision measuring tools and follow procedures.
• Document work in maintenance data systems and provide customer feedback.
