Job summary

Plum Gas Solutions is seeking a Field Technician to provide on-site and remote support for natural gas processing equipment. You will perform maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure continuous operation of field equipment.

The role requires the ability to travel up to 25% (including potential international travel for training) and to collaborate with customers to meet their technical needs. A high school diploma or GED is required, with experience in gas processing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• 1+ years of experience working with gas processing equipment preferred.
• Associate’s degree in engineering technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide field technical service and customer support including mobilization/demobilization and operation of natural gas equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on gas pressure regulation systems, conditioning equipment, and compressors.
• Collaborate with the technical support team to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues.
• Assist with remote monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Maintain spare parts and equipment inventory; complete service reports and time sheets.
• Travel up to 25% of the time, including potential international travel to Canada for training.
• Provide technical training and guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.

Job description

Responsiblewithproviding virtual and on-site operational and technical support using their knowledge of natural gas processing equipment. The field technician collaborates with customers, performs mechanical repairs, and will troubleshoot operational issues with natural gas equipment, among other duties. They are the first point of contact for customers seeking technicalassistanceover the phone,email,or onsite to ensure continuous operation of the Company’s field equipment. Travel may berequired, depending on home location, and may occasionally include international travel.

Responsibilities andDuties

• Provide technical service and customer support in the field, including mobilization/demobilization and operation and maintenance of natural gas pressure regulation systems, conditioning equipment, compressors, CNG trailers and other gas equipment as needed
• Perform monthly,quarterly,and annual preventative maintenance on natural gas pressure regulation systems according to defined procedures
• Collaborate with the technical support team to diagnose and resolve complex issues
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance toidentifypotential issues
• Customer Serviceand Reporting-collaborate with customers to understand their needs and respond to their inquiries
• Assistin remote monitoring and troubleshooting
• Maintain spare parts and equipment inventory
• Keep detailed time sheets and work orders to ensureaccuratebilling to customers
• Document service and maintenance activities, including service reports, parts usage, and equipment records
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time or more, including international travel to Canada for training
• Complete all mandatory safety training and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Program
• Provide technical training and guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

RequiredEducation andExperience

• High school diploma or GED, or three (3) years of relevant work experience
• One (1) or more years of experience working with gas processing equipment
• Proven experience as a Field Technician or in a related role

PreferredEducation andExperience

• Associate’s degree in engineering technology or a related field
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and snow

PhysicalDemands

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and climb for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment upto 50lbson a regular basis
• Frequent use of hands and arms tooperatetools, equipment, or controls
• Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain, various outdoor surfaces, and occasional obstacles
