Job summary

Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, is seeking a Construction Field Technician to join our team in the Pompano location. You will travel with crews to repair post-tensioning cables and review contract drawings and site requirements.

Qualified candidates will have construction experience, be able to work outdoors, read blueprints, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. The role includes risk assessment and the use of provided tools.

Qualifications

• Must have construction experience and ability to work outdoors.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Understanding of post-tension/concrete is required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel with crews to repair post-tensioning cables.
• Identify risks and take steps to reduce risk; escalate changes as needed.
• Review contract drawings, specifications and site requirements.
• Use provided tools as required.

Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, is an established post-tension and rebar manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our eight facilities in the US.

Role Details

We are looking for a Construction Field Technician to join our growing team in our Pompano location.

Responsibilities

• Travelling with crews to repair post tensioning cables
• Recognizes major risks and takes appropriate measures to reduce risk & assists in identifying changes that need to be escalated
• Reviews and understands contract drawings, specifications and other site requirements
• Required to use tools provided

Qualifications

• Must have experience in construction and be able to work outside
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must have an understanding of Post Tension/concrete
• Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record

Additional Information

Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.00/hr+ Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
