Job summary

Autowash-System is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair and maintain car wash systems and equipment across client sites in the Minneapolis area. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and document service orders.

The role requires heavy lifting, safe driving, ability to work autonomously and with a team, and occasional overnight travel. You’ll need mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills to access service software.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Some mechanical or construction trades experience.
• A safe driving record and mechanical aptitude are required.
• Willingness and ability to learn and computer skills are required.
• A winning attitude and the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Able to do overnight travel on very limited occasion.

Responsibilities

• Field service, maintenance, and repair of car wash systems and equipment.
• Safely perform repairs or installations in construction settings, including ladders and pay stations.
• Safe operation of company-provided vehicles and equipment.
• Effectively communicate issues, resolutions, and priorities in a customer-facing role.
• Complete service orders and time/expense forms as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance with task prioritization and follow-up communication.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and manage priorities.
