This role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work and is comfortable in confined spaces, with prior experience in construction, landscaping, surveying, or utility work being a plus. The position involves rigorous safety standards, physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating field equipment.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Basic knowledge of electronics is helpful.
• This role is outdoors 100% of the time.
• Awareness of hazardous conditions is essential.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• All safety and field operations training provided.
• Serve as the second person on a field crew.
• Enter confined spaces into utility and sewer manholes as required.
• Pass company physical and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Perform outdoor fieldwork in all weather, on streets, easements, and off-road.
• Maintain accurate, legible records per Operations Quality Work Instructions.
• Operate and maintain issued equipment and vehicles for product lines.

Job description

Environmental and Safety Solutions Inc. is searching for a Field Technician Assistant to function as the second person on a field crew. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors and be comfortable in confined spaces. Prior background in construction, landscaping, surveying, utility works, or working outside with hand tools, is a plus!

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies/procedures.
• All required safety and field operations training will be supplied.
• This position will perform the function of the second person on a field crew.
• Will be required to perform confined space entry into utility and sewer manholes.
• Must pass company physical and be physically capable of lifting heavy (50 pounds) objects.
• Performs outdoor fieldwork in all weather conditions, within streets, easements, and off-road.
• Maintain accurate, legible organized records in accordance with Operations Quality Work Instructions.
• Responsible for operating and maintaining issued equipment and vehicles associated with the above product lines.
