Job summary

Providence Engineering and Environmental Group LLC is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to support air monitoring projects in Baton Rouge. You will travel to client sites to set up and maintain air monitoring systems and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

This role emphasizes field work with calibration and maintenance of ambient air testing equipment, and you will document field activities and deliver excellent service to clients.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record.
• TWIC Card is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain documentation.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime when necessary.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deploy, and sample air monitoring systems.
• Operate and maintain ambient air testing equipment.
• Inspect facilities and conduct audits for compliance.
• Calibrate and maintain monitoring equipment, including CEMS and mobile stations.
• Complete safety checks and participate in toolbox meetings.
• Document all field activities accurately.
• Deliver excellent service to clients
