Job description

Utility contractor that deals with water, waste water and natural gas located in Scotch Plains is seeking a direct hire Field Tech to join their team. Office is a small, clean, professional, family owned company with two additional locations in the NJ area. Candidate will be on the road all day performing duties as a Field Tech and visiting various work sites.

SALARY: $55K - $58K (based on experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will be using company car to drive to various NJ locations to collect data on jobs.
• Must have clear, legible handwriting.
• Must have Microsoft Office to handle paperwork and enter data.
• Must have clean driving record because will be using the company vehicle to go back and forth to jobs sites and must be comfortable traveling and driving all day.
• Must have attention to detail because will need to get accurate readings for each site.
• Will be recording measurements and data.
