Job Title: Field Technician
The Field Technician supports environmental air testing, environmental health and safety (EHS) compliance, and hazardous materials testing across a wide range of client sites. This role is heavily field-based and involves performing air sampling, conducting safety and compliance inspections, and supporting environmental testing projects from planning through reporting. The position offers a clear growth path into project management for individuals who demonstrate strong field performance, effective client communication, and a high level of project ownership.
The role is primarily field-based across commercial, industrial, and construction sites, with frequent travel to various client locations. The Field Technician works in varying site conditions, including active construction areas and operational industrial facilities, where appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and strictly used. The position involves hands‑on use of field equipment and instrumentation for environmental air testing, EHS compliance monitoring, and hazardous materials sampling. In addition to fieldwork, there is occasional office‑based work focused on reporting, documentation, and project coordination. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
