Job summary

Window Nation is seeking a Field Technician to measure residential window and door openings and ensure installation specifications align with project needs. You will review project scope with customers, coordinate with teams, and help ensure accurate pricing based on measurements.

The role requires 2+ years measuring and installing windows, a valid driver's license, and comfort using CRM tools and MS Office. A 10% annual performance bonus is offered as part of the compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2+ years professional experience measuring replacement windows
• 2+ years professional experience installing/repairing windows, roofing, siding, and related home improvement projects
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Visit residential sites to measure windows, doors, and openings as needed
• Ensure orders meet installation specs and complete purchase orders
• Support pricing with accurate measurements for labor and materials
• Review installation project with customers
• Identify and address roadblocks impacting customer expectations, costs or code requirements
• Execute change order specifications
• Maintain service parts inventory and equipment
• Complete service assessments and identify needed services, materials, and labor
• Fulfill service appointment specifications
• Maintain proficiency with Window Nation products and install techniques
• Stay proficient in product knowledge and construction basics

Integral to our post-sale process and our customers’ satisfaction, Window Nation’sField Technician provides accurate project measurements and completes services to the relevant stakeholders.

Core Role Responsibilities

• Visit residential customer sites to measure each window, door, sliding glass door opening as needed
• Ensure order meets required installation specifications; ensure comprehensive purchase order, including material and labor requirements
• Support pricing process by providing accurate measurements and assessments for labor/materials
• Review installation project/process with customers
• Anticipate roadblocks that could impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance; recommend solutions
• Execute change order specifications
• Maintain service parts inventory and equipment
• Complete service assessments; identify needed services, materials, and labor to relevant stakeholders
• Fulfill service appointment specifications
• Ability to learn and stay proficient with all Window Nation products, install techniques, and service techniques.
• Maintain proficiency to do all tasks of the position.
• Maintain a substantive knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics
• Maintaining a driving record that meets company’s insurance standards
• Ability to use an extension ladder in a safe manner to measure windows and perform services
• Must be able to passEPAcertification and follow EPARegulations
• Knowledgeof localpermit/license/historical/HOArequirements

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2+ years professional experience measuring replacement windows
• 2+ years professional experience installing/repairing windows, roofing, siding, and related home improvement projects
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel; experience with Customer Relationship management systems preferred
• Capability to navigate various applications on an iPad
• Customer-centric mindset
• Superior time and project management skills
• Ability to navigate a CRM system (i.e., SalesForce, Dynamics, Microsoft systems)

• $33.50 - $33.50 an hour
• $33.50/hr to start
• 10% annual performance bonus
