My client is looking for an individual to assist in planning and requisitioning of new recording equipment, radios and computers. The candidate will work with Seismic Observers to verify field instrument tests and ensure equipment is within specified limits. Responsibilities include overseeing and participating in the installation, interfacing, testing and usage of equipment and/or programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in seismic acquisition
• Electronic Technology diploma or 2 years of post-secondary relevant engineering education
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in 2D, 3D, 4D, heli‑portable, North Slope, and conventional seismic an asset
• Strong technical aptitude
• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office products
• Must be legally entitled to work in the region applying for and willing to travel
