Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate SoundOff Signal’s Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers.
- Establish and maintain an expert understanding of SoundOff Signal’s products, focusing on hardware and software solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical training programs for internal staff and external partners.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions, both in-person and virtual.
- Create engaging training materials, including manuals, presentations, and multimedia content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
- Stay current with industry trends and research to incorporate relevant information into training programs.
- Provide post-training support to ensure successful implementation.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of training materials and methodologies.
- Attend and support national and regional tradeshows.
Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 75%, including occasional weekends.
- Consistent job performance without excessive absenteeism or tardiness.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Advanced degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
- Technical background with 5-7 years of relevant experience; public safety or emergency vehicle upfitting experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
- Strong multi-tasking, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of 12VDC electrical systems and vehicle wiring/mechanical systems.
- Experience designing wire schematics for aftermarket equipment.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and auto insurability.
- Ability to travel internationally.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Learning Management System (LMS) experience.
- EVT Certification.
Work Environment:
- Mostly office setting, occasional light manufacturing environment.
- Fast-paced, team-oriented, low noise, temperature-controlled.
- Some domestic and international travel may be required.
- Remote work possible.
- Normal business hours with occasional flexible hours and onsite at customer locations.
Salary:
$85,000 - $105,000 annually, based on experience.
