Job summary

AgroFresh is seeking a Technical Services Representative to deliver on-site technical support for fruit quality and product application in Visalia, CA. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AgroFresh product use while complying with MRL and food safety standards.

You will travel occasionally, maintain equipment, and help with trials, reporting findings to the Technical Sales and Service Team. A PCA/QAL license will be pursued within the first year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college may help to obtain PCA license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the application of fungicides, wax, sanitizers and other AgroFresh products.
• Collect fruit and liquid residue samples.
• Monitor fruit condition and sanitation practices in packing facilities.
• Maintain daily records of visits to packing facilities.
• Gain knowledge of MRL database and stay updated on industry changes.
• Attend industry seminars and trade shows as required.
• Maintain vehicle and drive 30,000–40,000 miles per year.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
• Assist with trials and support Customer/Account Managers.
