Job summary

New Era Technology, LLC. is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial cooling equipment at customer sites. You’ll work with electrical and mechanical systems and enjoy problem solving in the field.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience repairing or maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, HVAC systems, manufacturing equipment, automation systems, compressors, pumps, generators, or similar machinery.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience working on 200-440V electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable replacing electrical and mechanical components.
• Able to work independently in the field.

Job Description:

What We’re Looking For:

Education:

• A technical degree, trade school, military training, or vocational training is preferred but not required.
• Candidates with strong hands‑on experience are encouraged to apply even without a college degree.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, bend, kneel, and work at customer locations.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Typically, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts.

Occasional overtime and on-call support may be required.
