Job summary

Rune Technologies seeks a Technical Operations Specialist in Rosslyn, VA to join the Mission Success organization. You will test new TyrOS releases, train users, prepare deployment packages, and provide field support to military customers.

At headquarters you’ll develop training materials and ensure product readiness, while in the field you’ll deploy Rune systems, update software, and capture feedback to drive product improvements.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of hands-on technical experience in help desk, field service, or systems administration.
• Availability to work onsite in Rosslyn, VA.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware components and networking.
• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and networking concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical workflow orientation.
• Excellent communication with military users and stakeholders.
• Bias toward execution and delivering results in high-stakes environments.
• Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Validate new Rune software releases prior to customer use.
• Test end-to-end TyrOS scenarios and other Rune products.
• Prepare deployment packages including software, hardware, and documentation.
• Provide hands-on technical support for Rune systems in field deployments.
• Develop training materials and train military users in various settings.
• Capture feedback and translate it into product observations for teams.
