WPI is seeking a Field Technician – Leaderman in Broussard, LA to supervise, train, and guide technicians while performing assigned jobs. You will plan with the Regional Field Service Manager for parts, tools, and equipment, and communicate daily with customers about progress or delays.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, reading schematics/blueprints, and strong supervisory skills. Basic tooling and equipment handling, safety compliance, and PM duties are essential, with WPI

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant field experience.
• Must hold valid driver license and have a driving record that complies with insurance requirements.
• Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of OEM equipment and troubleshooting.
• Must have supervisory/leadership experience.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Job purposeSupervise, lead, and train other technicians while performing assigned jobs. Promote good attitudes and aesthetics that are represented of WPI. Job planning with Regional Field Service Manager for correct parts, tools, and equipment. Daily communication to customer of progress or any special circumstances that has delayed job in completing in the set time. Promote safe work practices and insure that JSA and all HSE requirements for job are followed. Fill out detailed daily service tickets reports, review with customer and have signed daily. Keep your RFSM informed to job progression daily.
