Job summary

SPL in Reading, PA seeks a part-time Field Services Technician II to perform regulated environmental sampling and field operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and sample integrity. You will work independently on sampling programs and coordinate between field and lab teams.

Thursdays to Sundays, about 7 hours per day (28 hours/week) with morning shifts; travel to client sites, operate sampling equipment, and complete required documentation as part of a safety-conscious, professional team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field services or regulated sampling experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; good computer skills
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform regulated environmental sampling and sample collection per approved methods and guidelines
• Travel to client sites to pick up and deliver samples following routes and schedules
• Maintain sample custody, integrity, and regulatory holding times during transport
• Deploy, program, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain composite sampling equipment
• Verify sampler operation and document maintenance and field activities
• Complete chain-of-custody records and other required documentation accurately
