Job summary

Reeder Distributors, Inc. is seeking a dependable Tank Build/Maintenance Technician to support our Tank team at Fort Worth and on customer sites. This hands-on role involves fuel polishing, tank maintenance, cleaning, and assembly, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Valid Class C driver's license required; acceptable MVR.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Willing to travel to customer sites; overnight travel as needed.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with tank, fuel polishing, mechanical, or related field preferred.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform fuel polishing services at customer locations and job sites.
• Assist Tank team with tank maintenance, assembly, preparation, cleaning, and field service work.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
• Perform paint preparation, power washing, and general cleaning of tanks and equipment.
• Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment maintenance.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip forklift inspections.
• Safely operate forklifts to load/unload tanks and materials from trailers.
• Document tank builds, modifications, and service work as required.
• Work at heights with fall-protection equipment and PPE as required.
• Travel to customer locations and job sites, including overnight travel when needed.
• Collaborate with Tank team to ensure safety, efficiency, and schedule adherence.
• Take initiative on daily assignments and assist department needs.
