Job summary

Mojo in Fargo, ND seeks a Recruiting, Development & Retention Manager to own the employee lifecycle across assigned wash locations, leading hourly hiring, site leadership development, and retention programs. This is an on-site role focused on being present with teams and coaching leaders in the moment.

Expect responsibilities across recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and analytics, with performance measures like turnover, 90-day retention, and time-to-fill.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in recruiting, human resources, or multi-unit operations.
• Experience coaching frontline supervisors and knowledge of employment law fundamentals (at-will, wage/hour, non-discrimination).
• ATS and HRIS proficiency; Paylocity preferred; valid driver’s license and ability to travel the territory.

Responsibilities

• Partner with General Managers to own end-to-end recruitment across locations and step in when needed.
• Deliver on-site onboarding, coaching on interviewing, scheduling, and leadership development.
• Surface concerns early, conduct stay/exit interviews, and drive engagement initiatives.
• Track metrics on turnover, retention, and staffing against the labor plan.
• Collaborate with leadership and People Operations on acquisitions, openings, and recognition events.
