Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Recruiting, Development, & Retention Manager to lead the employee lifecycle across assigned wash locations. This on-site role focuses on recruiting hourly and site-leadership positions, onboarding, and retention initiatives to minimize vacancies and enhance team engagement.

The candidate will coach site leaders, build pipelines with partners, and monitor turnover, time-to-fill, and staffing coverage against the labor plan, traveling as needed within the territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in recruiting, HR, or multi-unit operations in a high-volume environment (car wash, quick-service, convenience retail, hospitality, or logistics).
• Experience coaching frontline supervisors; knowledge of employment law fundamentals (at-will, wage/hour, non-discrimination).
• ATS and HRIS proficiency; Paylocity preferred; valid driver’s license and ability to travel the territory.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment across locations, partnering with General Managers and coordinating hiring of GMs, supervisors, and site leads.
• Deliver on-site onboarding and coaching on interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, and performance conversations.
• Surface and resolve team concerns to reduce resignations; conduct stay/exit interviews and 30/60/90-day checks.
• Track recruiting and retention metrics; update leadership on staffing health and turnover risk.
