Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is hiring a Systems Engineer for air defense work with the U.S. Army. You will own defined parts of the system, from requirements through fielding and sustainment, with hands-on hardware involvement.

You will configure, calibrate, test at the range, diagnose issues from logs, write procedures and training materials for field teams, and travel up to 25% for deployments or tests.

Qualifications

• Engineering, science, or technical degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of systems engineering on hardware and software systems.
• Ownership of a subsystem through verification and fielding.
• Ability to explain the architecture and interfaces of a subsystem you owned, with maintained interface docs.
• Turn a defined scope into clear requirements and verification steps, then plan and run tests.
• Experience debugging on real hardware and data, including root-causing field issues.
• Experience presenting results to a technical group or customer and contributing to design reviews.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, with up to 50% during tests/deployments.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
