Qualifications

Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) is one of the largest IT services programs for the Navy and U.S. Marine Corps (USMC), supporting approximately 400,000 seats worldwide. The SMIT contractor provides enterprise services including transport, datacenter, network operations, service desk, cybersecurity, and managed services, supporting the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), Navy-Marine Corps Internet (NMCI), and OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net). CDW-G supports the SMIT contractor across several service areas.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide support for Print devices and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment in an enterprise environment, including configuration, testing, troubleshooting (onsite and remote), and proactive management of service tickets.
  2. Lead and troubleshoot complex Print and VTC projects involving multiple devices across various locations.
  3. Coordinate remote implementation and troubleshooting efforts.
  4. Act as a liaison with clients and vendors on administrative and technical matters.
  5. Interpret client needs and work towards effective resolutions.
  6. Manage escalated issues, communicate with customers and management, and update service tickets promptly.
  7. Work with leadership on inventory management, including stock levels and reorder points.
  8. Communicate service offerings and performance expectations clearly.
  9. Provide documentation from third-party agreements as needed.
  10. Advise clients on hardware or software changes due to incompatibilities or non-standard configurations.
  11. Collaborate with vendors, clients, and leadership to develop strategies.
  12. Ensure SLA compliance by managing performance metrics.
  13. Maintain strong customer and partner relationships.
  14. Lead the development of best practices within the team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Security+ Certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience with OEM or third-party printer repair services
  • Understanding of physical hardware components
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical details to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in creating detailed reports and manuals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional 3+ years of experience in printer repair services
  • Printer Certifications (HP, Xerox)
  • Technical certifications such as ITIL, A+, Network+
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of print service offerings
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access and SQL

Pay range: $28.85/hr - $33.65/hr depending on experience, plus an additional $4.93/hr health and welfare allowance. Benefits overview available at https://cdw.benefit-info.com/.
