Job Overview

CDW is seeking a Field System Administrator - Print to support the NGEN SMIT team in Norfolk, VA. This role involves supporting enterprise print devices and VTC equipment, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support and troubleshoot print devices and VTC equipment, including installation, configuration, testing, repair, and troubleshooting onsite and remotely.
  • Manage service tickets proactively, providing timely updates and resolutions.
  • Lead and implement complex print and VTC projects across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to address issues, manage inventory, and communicate service offerings.
  • Maintain relationships with customers, partners, and vendors, ensuring SLA compliance and high-quality service.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance
  • Security+ Certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience with OEM or third-party printer repair services
  • Strong understanding of physical hardware
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional experience with OEM or third-party printer services
  • Printer Certifications (HP, Xerox)
  • Technical certifications (ITIL, A+, Network+)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of print service offerings, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Access, and SQL
