Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Surveyor to join our Frederick, MD team. You will provide surveying services to ensure construction work meets design drawings and specifications, performing set-up, stake-out, and as-built measurements while supporting job sites throughout projects.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and 0+ years in construction surveying. Proficiency in geometry and trigonometry, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0+ years experience in new construction surveying.
• Proficient in algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required, including out-of-town.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate survey equipment as assigned on multiple jobs.
• Support survey chief and field team on set-up and stake-out tasks.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Assist in elevations, measurements, and data collection.
• Learn and apply new survey concepts and technologies.
