Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Surveyor Helper for our Galena Park, TX site. You will assist in measuring distances and angles, locating boundaries, and recording data under the supervision of a surveyor, while learning to read blueprints.

The role requires at least 1 year of surveyor helper experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with blueprints. Expect travel to remote locations and long shifts as project needs dictate.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Surveyor Helper required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of schematic/blueprints required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with measuring distances and angles between points on, above, and below the Earth's surface.
• Help locate boundaries to determine exact features.
• Record survey results and verify data accuracy with the surveyor.
• Learn to read and interpret schematics/blueprints.
