Job summary

Cadillac Asphalt, a CRH Americas Materials Company, is seeking a Field Surveyor to support grade and asphalt crews with daily survey, layout, and 3D grade control operations. This entry-to-mid level role involves data collection on job sites, setting up equipment, and maintaining field records to ensure accurate construction layout.

Qualified candidates will have a degree in Construction, Civil or Geospatial Engineering and 1 year of related experience, plus familiarity with survey hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Geospatial Engineering.
• 1 year of experience in civil engineering, surveying, or equivalent combinations.
• Experience with Trimble/Topcon/Leica hardware is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform jobsite visits gathering site data, collecting measurements, and jobsite surveying, layouts, and staking.
• Perform post construction as-builts, surveying assistance in troubleshooting, and field records.
• Perform ride quality measurement utilizing Cadillac ride quality vehicle and equipment.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Able to work with profilometer software.
• Jobsite, plant, and aggregate survey utilizing drones.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
